It’s been just over a week since the Federal election and now we wait for a new session of Parliament.

Locally, 59% of respondents to a poll were happy Conservative Eric Melillo was elected MP for the Kenora riding.
31% weren’t happy with the results, while 10% had no opinion.
On the national front, 57% of respondents indicated electing a minority Liberal government was a bad decision.
35% were happy with the results, while 8% had no opinion.
Justin Trudeau is scheduled to meet with Governor General Julie Payette in Ottawa today (Tuesday) to confirm he intends to form government,
He has said he’ll appoint his cabinet on November 20th, but it’s not yet clear when Parliament will reconvene.
