A late rally by the Dryden GM Ice Dogs fell short in a 6-4 setback last night (Wednesday) against Thunder Bay at the Memorial Arena.
The Ice Dogs opened the scoring but saw the North Stars bounce back with five consecutive goals to hold a commanding lead.
However, Dryden GM exploded in the third to cut the lead to one before Thunder Bay ended things with an empty net goal.
Curtis Magas, Josh Weber, Justin Pitari and Mark Walchuk scored for the Ice Dogs.
Dryden GM outshot the North Stars 41-36.
