Provincial Police in Sioux Lookout are helping locate a stolen bicycle in the community.
Police say the bike was taken from the bike racks in front of the Sioux Lookout Recreation Centre on October 17th between 4:30pm and 6pm.
OPP say it is described as a light blue BMX bicycle with white tires and black rims.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Sioux Lookout OPP at 807-737-2020 or 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Police also urge the public to ensure their bikes are securely locked on a proper bike rack with a proper bike lock and to also try to ensure that both the wheel and frame are locked to the rack.
OPP also say it is beneficial to lock your bike in a well-lit, well-traveled area and do not park your bike on the street overnight.
