Police Day has come and gone and the Dryden Police Service says it was a success.
The day is used to bring together multiple members of the police force to demonstrate to the mayor, council and the board what they do.
Police Chief Doug Palson says they provided a tour of their detachment, firing ranges as well as the courthouse as well.
He adds that many people in the community are unaware of the work the police service does at the courthouse with work such as security and transportation.
Palson also says they provided lots of info on many topics including general patrolling, drug testing and security.
