A joint fundraising initiative by the Dryden Lions and Dryden Trillium Lions clubs is giving the money to the community.
The money was raised though a draw they held to win a truck and the money is benefiting many local groups including the Dryden Regional Health Centre and Hoshizaki House.
Trillium Lions Member Wendy Wiedenhoeft says the fundraiser was a success as they sold out of all of their 5000 tickets raising a total amount of $40,000
Dryden Lions President Todd Kropelin is also thankful for the community saying they always helpful and they thank Dryden GM for helping with the truck as well.
Wiedenhoeft is also thankful to all the local businesses that sold tickets at their locations as well.
