Over two million Canadians voted in the first two days of the federal election advance polls over the long weekend.
That’s a 25% increase from the same period in 2015.
Elections Canada spokesperson Dale Mason says voting started slow in our area.
“This time it was horrible weather, Friday and Saturday mornings. So, we think that kept people from all coming in at the same time. It was a steady flow throughout the four days.”
The numbers for the Kenora riding are expected to be released tomorrow. (Wednesday, October 15th)
