Plans for an All-Nations Hospital in Kenora are moving forward very quickly.
A committee set up to oversee the new hospital held its very first meeting last month.
President and Chief Executive Officer Ray Racette says they plan to consult with a wide variety of people in the region.
“We just hired the two planners who are doing that work”.
Racette says “They will be doing that work over the next several months. We’ll probably look at starting consultation in November, but we haven’t set dates for the engagement sessions.”
Right now, the committee is seeking a representative from Grand Council Treaty Three to round out their membership.
