A 20-year-old from Cochenour has been named Superior International Junior Hockey League/Play It Again Sports Player of the Week.
The honour goes to Thunder Bay North Stars forward Cody Bruchowski for a six point effort in two wins last weekend against Red Lake.
The highlight was a five point game on Friday that included his first SIJHL hat trick and the game winning goal.
Bruchowski now has points in all four games he has played since joining the North Stars.
Josh Weber of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs and Rajvir Sanga of the Miners also received consideration.
