The Treaty 3 Police Service has issued a warning of pills that look like oxycodone but might actually be Fentanyl.
Some pills seized on the Shoal Lake #39 First Nation back in August were thought to contain oxycondone.
The pills were first believed to be Percocet due to their size, shape and markings but after testing by Health Canada, they turned out to be Fentanyl.
The drug is said to be potentially deadly and the public is asked to be aware that imitation drugs are being sold in the area and can cause health risks if consumed.
Anyone who might have knowledge about the illegal sale of these drugs is asked to contact the Treaty 3 Police or Crime Stoppers.
