Four years of never losing hope have paid off for Thunder Bay’s Mike Plas.
His lost dog Jack was found last week in Manitoba.
Plas received a call from an animal hospital in Winnipeg saying they had his dog.
They were able to prove it through an embedded microchip in Jack.
Plas immediately drove to the Manitoba capital to be reunited with Jack calling it the best phone call he ever received in his life.
There is no indication of how Jack ended up in Winnipeg.
So I got the greatest phone call iv ever gotten yesterday at work around 2 40pm…. an animal shelter from winnipeg…
