A pesky text message scam is targeting local residents.
Tbaytel is reporting a fake text message claiming to be from their company is making the rounds across northwestern Ontario.
The company reminds you they do not ask for personal information or money through text messages.
They ask if you receive a similar suspicious message don’t click on any links and delete it immediately.
