This is Rail Safety Week and CN is working with Operation Lifesaver to raise awareness about railway safety.
Officials stress there is a crossing or trespassing incident on or near railway property every day.
A total of 223 incidents were recorded in Canada in 2017, including 72 fatalities.
A number of new signs are to be put up in those areas in an effort to reduce the number to 0.
