A special partnership has been formed between the Dryden GM Ice Dogs and the Dryden Rotary Club.
Team President Mike Sveinson says Rotary has made sure that every school aged child in Dryden, under the age of 12, is going to get a free ticket to any Ice Dogs game they want.
Sveinson notes it’s such an investment in the youth of Dryden.
Sveinson says Rotary has been instrumental in helping the team, the community and youth in Dryden.
The Ice Dogs home opener is tonight (Saturday, September 21st) at 7:30.
This is the 19th season for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs in the Superior International Junior Hockey League.
Sveinson stresses community support has been great since Day 1 and they look to carry on that proud tradition this season.
“We’ve done it for almost 20 years in a row now and that’s something that we ought to be really proud of.”
He’s hoping for a huge crowd tonight.
