Don’t put the rain coats and rain boots away just yet.
Bill Laidlaw of Signal Weather Services says more showers will be developing by Saturday morning.
“The whole upper pattern has shifted quite a bit to bring us quite a bit of rain. So we’re expecting a washout again this weekend. 40 to 50-millimetres probably total by the time the weekend rolls out. It won’t be one big deluge but it will be spread out over a couple of days.”
Laidlaw says additional showers are expected Tuesday and Wednesday.
Meantime, to say the month of September has been a wet one would be an understatement.
Laidlaw says Dryden has so far received 125.8-millimetres of rain.
Ignace leads the way with 139-millimetres, while Sioux Lookout has seen 129.3.
