Only a small number of fires are now burning in the region.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says there are currently five fires in the northwest, all of which are being watched by crews.
The hazard is currently low, with pockets of moderate in the Red Lake and Kenora districts.
Ministry officials say that so far this season year they have had to deal with 530 fires across the entire province, a number that represents less than half of the fires from last year.
However, more land has been burned.
The fire season wraps up at the end of the month.
