A “Rainfall Warning” has been issued by Environment Canada across much of our region.
The warning is in effect for Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Ignace and Vermilion Bay.
Environment Canada says heavy rain is expected with rainfall amounts of 50 to 75mm being possible.
Thunder storms are also expected this evening and overnight.
Environment Canada also says heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads and flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
