A big win for the People’s Party of Canada with their leader Maxime Bernier now being allowed to take part in next month’s leader’s debates.
Thunder Bay PPC spokesperson Mac Rogerson calls it “great news for the party and Canada.”
Also on the campaign trail, the Green party released its election platform which will make all laws from an environmental point of view.
The Conservatives promised children’s fitness and arts training tax credits. The fitness credits would amount to $1,000 per child per year and for the arts, $500 per year per child.
The Liberals are pledging more daycare spaces with leader Justin Trudeau claiming a new Liberal government would work with the provinces and territories “will double federal support for early learning and childcare.”
As for the NDP, they introduced a new candidate in Quebec who defected from the Green Party.
