A Thunder Bay man is charged after police say an online video showed a vehicle going 180 kilometres an hour just prior to a collision.
Police say the video turned up after a two-vehicle crash on Oliver Road about 3 and a half kilometres west of the Thunder Bay Expressway.
It happened around 1:30 in the afternoon last Saturday.
Police claim a Snapchat video appeared to show the driver recording himself as he passed multiple vehicles with the video also showing speeds between 180 and 190 kilometres an hour.
Through the video, they say they were also able to confirm GPS tracking showed the vehicle was in the area of Oliver Road near the scene of the collision
A 19-year-old man is charged with dangerous driving.
