A group of Junior and Senior students are promoting the importance of the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Camp.
The students made a presentation to the Dryden Rotary Club on Wednesday afternoon.
Alyssa McCready says it was her third year going and stresses it’s still an unforgettable experience.
McCready says “You can’t even describe how it much it means to you. There really is no other camp out there like RYLA, because you’re just shoved in this little camp full of bears and bugs and everything else.”
He notes within a day you become best friends with all of the other camp members, which makes it hard to leave.
One of the activities was the midnight challenge and the teamwork involved, even though you had to be running around at 1:00am.
