Campaigns are officially underway for the 2019 federal election.
The federal leaders spoke to their supporters across the country on Wednesday afternoon, after writs were issued in all 338 ridings.
Platform points such as the economy, the environment and ethics were brought up.
The first leaders debate takes place tonight (Thursday, September 12th) in Toronto at 7:00pm central.
The two-hour, English language debate will centre on four major themes: the economy, foreign policy, Indigenous issues, and energy and the environment.
Liberal leader Justin Trudeau is not expected to take part in the debate as he’s campaigning in B.C. and Alberta.
