The Dryden Eagles High School Football team couldn’t overcome Mother Nature and a powerhouse Miles Mac team Thursday afternoon.
The Eagles fell to the Buckeyes 46-0 on a cold, wet, windy and miserable day.
Dryden jumped out of the gate, forcing two big turnovers and started to move the ball down field before stalling.
From there the Eagles were plagued by penalty troubles, a couple of costly turnovers and some mistakes.
The defence was once again strong but Miles Mac capitalized on great field position throughout the game.
Dryden falls to 0-2 and will now prepare for a marquee matchup next Friday with Beaver Brae in Kenora.
