Changes are coming to the leadership in Shoal Lake #40.
Erwin Redsky, who has been Chief for the last 14 years, is calling it quits.
The next election is scheduled for March, 2020.
In an open letter on Facebook, Redsky says while he might be stepping back from politics, he wants to continue to make a contribution to the “challenge of rebuilding a healthy, self-sustaining Nation”.
During his time as chief, Redsky had the Freedom Road built, and recently $33-million was announced for a new water treatment plant.
Redsky says the next project is the construction of a new school.
