The A&W Burgers to Beat MS Campaign continues to get bigger and better each year across the region.
More than $43,000 was raised during the one day fundraiser last week in Dryden and Kenora.
Thanks to the tremendous support of residents and guests, the Dryden store managed to raise $12,517.75.
Store manager Taylor Nickle wasn’t able to help as he and his wife Nicole celebrated the arrival of a baby boy on that day.
The Kenora outlet reached $30,835.98, setting a new store record.
The event is a key fundraiser for the MS Society.
11 people in Canada are diagnosed with MS every day, three times as many women as men.
Those between the ages of 20 and 49 are the most prone to be diagnosed with the disease.
