Get ready to rock as Dryden prepares for the first Rhythm on the Range outdoor concert.
The event is Saturday, August 17th at Anderson’s Homestead Golf Course.
Organizer Rhonda SharpeKlim was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show today (Monday) to promote the big day.
SharpeKlim says the concert will feature Tiller from Kenora, Slo-Paw from Winnipeg (featuring Dryden’s Mark Merkoski and Joe Jansen) and Kitchen Party from Winnipeg (featuring Dryden’s Grant Leutschaft).
There will be food and clothing vendors on site.
Gates open at 5:00pm, with the entertainment scheduled to get stared at 6:30pm.
There will be shuttle service to and from the site and camping will also be available at Anderson’s.
The shuttle will pick up people at the Centre, Laura Howe Marsh and New Prospect School and is free of charge.
The event is a fundraiser for the Dryden Recreation Extension and Modification Committee.
Age of majority is required.
SharpeKlim says her group is excited to host the concert, noting “It’s time! Dryden has been looking for something like this, they’ve been crying for it and we wanted to put it together. It was time and we had such a fantastic location with Anderson’s. It was a no brainer!”
