The month of July was without a doubt a hot one for Dryden and much of the region.
Bill Laidlaw of Signal Weather Services says we had 15 days during the month where the temperature for the day was over 20 degrees.
Laidlaw also says not only was it a hot month, but a wet one as well with a rainfall total of 175.5 millimeters at the Dryden Airport which is well above the average of 103.1 millimeters.
The greatest rainfall in the region was on the 10th in Vermilion Bay with 191.5 millimetres.
