“This new opportunity is a full circle for me. Early in my career with the Ottawa Police Service, I worked closely with Ottawa’s Indigenous People and Communities. I found the relationships I developed during my interactions to be quite rewarding. I am looking forward to engaging and building relationships with the Indigenous Communities within the Treaty Three Police Service mandate. I am excited at the strong leadership already established by Acting Chief Jeff Skye and Acting Deputy Chief Keith Singleton and look forward to collaborating with them as we continue to lead the men and women of the Treaty Three Police Service. I am truly grateful for the confidence and opportunity of the T3PSB have given me to lead this Police Service. My wife of 34 years, Heidi and I look forward to becoming a part of the Treaty 3 community.” – Kai Liu
