Provincial Police in Sioux Lookout are investigating a mischief call on Fifth Avenue north.
Police say on Tuesday at around 10:49pm they were dispatched to a residence where they were told that someone had tried breaking in.
Police say the suspect kicked their door which caused damage.
OPP say people in the residence heard the noise but were not able to see anyone in the area.
