The MP for Kenora is ready for a whirlwind tour.
Bob Nault says he hopes to visit the 55 municipalities and first nations in this riding over the Summer.
Nault says he wants to get a sense of what is needed in each community.
“I will be meeting with all of the leadership, talking about their priorities from the municipal perspective. It’s been a year now since the municipal election. People have had time to feel their way through how this all works and what their key priorities will be.”
Nault met with officials from the City of Dryden on Friday, July 19th.
He admits it will be a different tour as he’s also campaigning as the Liberal candidate for the upcoming Federal election.
Nault says he will be going door-to-door in each community, talking about local, regional and national issues.
Nault notes he wants to talk about some of their successes, some of their failures and what people expect of the government if given a second term.
We are scheduled to go to the polls on October 21st.
