Rain has really helped in the fight against forest fires across the region.
The forest fire hazard in northwestern Ontario is now at a low to moderate level.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says that of the 16 active fires in the region, only four remain out of control.
The Nungesser Lake blaze near Red Lake remains at 30,212 hectares but sprinkler systems are now being removed.
46 crews continue to patrol and extinguish hot spots with air support being provided.
All travel and use of the Coli Road, Sidace Road, Bandit Road, Rita Lake Road and North Road remains prohibited.
