An Ontario Provincial Police office in Kenora is set to close its doors.
The detachment near Home Hardware will be shut down for good as of 10:00 Friday morning.
The Provincial Police took over the office from the Kenora Police ten years ago this week.
A spokesperson for the OPP says that the closure of the office won’t have any impact on local services.
There will still be two places to go if you need the police; the main detachment just off the bypass and the OPP’s new downtown office on Main Street.
