The new Chief Executive Officer of the Dryden Regional Health Centre says she’s excited for the new challenge.
Doreen Armstrong-Ross has been appointed to the position after previous hire Darryl Galusha declined the position.
Armstrong-Ross has been with the hospital for nearly 14 years and has spent the past five years as Chief Nursing Executive and Vice President of Patient Care Services.
Officials says she brings strength, leadership and a willingness to create community partnerships to the table.
Armstrong-Ross says she’s really looking forward to taking the hospital through all of the changes in the provincial health care system.
She notes they have so much good stuff going on right now and several exciting projects on the go.
Armstrong-Ross says “We have really strong relationships that I’m going to be able to just carry on with and as we add others and make this health centre and our community a very strong and healthy one.”
