Treaty Three Police and Provincial Police continue to investigate the circumstances behind the death of a Grassy Narrows First Nation man.
Officers and paramedics were dispatched to the community early Tuesday morning to assist a man who had been seriously assaulted on a road.
Despite efforts to save him, 30-year-old Kenneth Scott was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say 35-year-old Leon John Fobister of Grassy Narrows has been charged with aggravated assault.
A post-mortem exam is being held in Toronto to determine the cause of death.
