A Rainfall Warning has been issued for Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Red Lake, Ear Falls and Kenora.
Environment Canada says those areas could see more than 50-millimetres of rain, with higher amounts for those who receive thunderstorms.
Officials are warning of localized flooding and possible washouts.
The low pressure system is expected to move away to James Bay tonight. (Wednesday)
