Police have not released any details on an incident in the Highway 17/Leach Road area Thursday morning.
The area was briefly closed off to motorists and the public, but officers were able to deesculate the situation.
Provincial Police were assisted by Dryden Police.
Reports from the scene indicated officers had a truck with Manitoba plates pulled over and guns drawn.
No other information has been released.
