The Ontario Special Investigations Unit is looking into the death of a 35-year-old man in Kenora.
On June 10th at 11:15, a man was arrested for a break and enter at a local business.
He was initially taken to the Lake of the Woods Hospital, but was transferred to Winnipeg hospital, where he passed away on the weekend.
One officer has been identified as a suspect, and five other officers are considered witnesses.
A post-mortem exam was completed in Winnipeg on Monday.
