A Dryden man is in police custody after causing significant damage to a patient room at the Dryden Regional Health Centre.
City Police were called last Thursday after the accused became violent and started to throw items around the room.
Staff were able to isolate the man in the room as he continued to damage hospital property.
Police say 46-year-old Raymond Meekis faces charges of mischief over $5,000, failing to comply with a probation order and failing to comply with an undertaking.
There were no reports of anyone being injured or assaulted during the incident.
