It’s considered the fastest growing women’s fishing tournament in Northwestern Ontario and it’s all in support of victims of crime and tragic circumstance in Dryden, Kenora and surrounding areas.
The 5th Annual Lake of the Woods Women’s Walleye Tournament is Saturday, June 22nd at the Devil’s Gap Marina in Kenora.
There will be a fundraising dinner and dance to follow featuring the band ‘Shadow Junction.’
All proceeds support Sunset Area Victim Services.
Organizer Jennifer Hansen says it’s a “Catch-Record-Release” format and prizes will be based on length and not weight.
60 teams will be accepted.
Tournament Info:
-60 Teams, Ages 14 and up
-There will be cash and other prizes
-No Livewell needed
-Digital Camera that takes a standard SD Card is required
-$250 (Teams of 2 Women. Third person is allowed to drive (man or woman)
