With the provincial budget receiving royal assent, Ontario’s Finance Minister is talking about how they are paying down the provincial debt.
Vic Fedeli says they are working on many solutions and finding efficiencies.
Fedeli says one of those efficiencies is introducing a central buying system which should save them 1 billion dollars.
He also mentions how they are making many of Service Ontario services accessible online which should save the government 33 and a half million dollars.
Fedeli says people can still stop into a Service Ontario location to access services as well.
