Students at Dryden High School had an opportunity yesterday (Tuesday) to showcase their visual arts skills to the community.
DHS hosted its year-end Art Show.
Senior Visual Arts Teacher Joy Parsons says work on display included self-portraits with paper mache, wood-burning and assorted paintings and drawings.
Parsons says students have also been doing some ceramics, learning to use various techniques to build such items as mugs.
She stresses everyone worked really hard to prepare their pieces, both in the classroom, but also away from school time.
Students at the show were also able to sell their work, raising money for the DHS Arts program.
