A product of the Dryden Minor Hockey system is heading west to play College hockey.
20-year-old Trey Palermo has committed to the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary.
Palermo played one season with the Dryden High School Eagles, (17-games, 37-points) before going to Kenora for two campaigns with the Kenora Triple-A Midget Thistles. (82-games, 66-points)
He went on to suit up for the Dryden GM Ice Dogs where he amassed 33-goals, 84-assists and 117-points in 133-games.
Palermo also won two Bill Salonen Cups.
He joins Braeden Allkins with SAIT.
The two spent two seasons together with the Ice Dogs.
