A graduating defenceman with the Dryden GM Ice Dogs is headed south for his next chapter in hockey.
21-year-old Kyle Sargent has committed to the Castleton University Spartans in Vermont.
Sargent, a product of Saskatchewan, was acquired by the Ice Dogs from Humboldt mid last year.
The stay at home defenceman went on to register 3-goals, 18-assists and 21-points in 40-games.
