The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board taking a look at their Alternative Education programming.
The school board offers many programs including dual-credit and Apprenticeship programs as well.
Teacher Tracey Bichon mentions another benefit from their classes is that students complete industry recognized certificates which can help them get work in the sector that they are considering.
With that the transition from school to work is seamless.
Bichon says they have many programs that are better for students who are better with hands-on learning.
