The City of Dryden says talks continue with the Fire Fighters’ Association.
The two sides met for three hours Tuesday night to listen to each other, share information and discuss issues of concern and possible solutions.
In a release, the City and the Association state they are committed to building relationships of mutual respect.
Dryden officials say they continue to ensure that public safety and emergency response capabilities are being met and are thanking volunteer firefighters at Fire Hall #2 for their ongoing coverage.
The City also cites mutual aid support from firefighters in Oxdrift and Wabigoon.
