The Dryden GM Ice Dogs have made a couple of big moves.
The club has re-acquired power forward Matthew Pitchenese from the Dauphin Kings of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
The 18-year-old from Eagle Lake First Nation skated with the Kings for 16-games and recorded 8-points and 55-penalty minutes.
Dryden GM gave up defenceman Sam Mouland in return for Pitchenese.
The Ice Dogs have also acquired defenceman Dakotah Woods from the French River Rapids of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League.
The 19-year-old has Major Junior experience playing 31-games in Quebec.
Woods is 6’4, 216-pounds and is a two-way defenceman.
In return, French River receives defenceman Nic Caputo, foward’s Bryce McDonald and Josh Sylvain and goalie Josh Anderson.
