To help support a growing need for education focused on working with First Nation communities, Confederation College has established a new Indigenous Governance and Public Administration program.
Don Bernosky is the Vice President of Workforce Development and he says the one-year course will provide opportunities in education and training, ultimately leading to employment.
Bernosky notes the program will also develop skills in Nation-to-Nation building and aligns with their goal for more Indigenous learning.
They will prepare graduates for future leadership opportunities, decision making, building and sustaining relationships and support community economic development.
