Ontario’s NDP leader is promoting her plan to lower hydro costs.
Andrea Horwath is promising a 30% cut, if elected Premier.
The NDP’s plan includes getting rid of the time of use pricing, removing the HST on bills and buying back all Hydro One shares sold in a recent public sale.
Meantime, Horwath is asking the Liberal government to release specific details on its energy rate reduction plan.
Horwath says Premier Kathleen Wynne hasn’t put her plan up for debate since announcing it two weeks ago.
She says it’s obvious that the government only cares about their own political power.
