Natural Resources Minister Donna Cansfield says Ontario’s not ignoring the province’s forest industry.
Speaking to Regional Mayors and Reeves in Fort Frances, Cansfield stressed her Ministry provided Abitibi-Bowater with more than $150-million, including $20-million for its new biomass boiler in Fort Frances.
Cansfield expects the forest sector to survive, but admits it will have a much different look to it.
