The big fish of day one went to 5th place team 96 – Daniel LeBlanc and Kevin Smith – and weighed in at 7.68lbs.
The Red Lake Fall Classic Junior Championship also took place today, with Josh Bray taking home the $100 first prize and trophy with an impressive 3.20lb walleye caught just 12 minutes into the junior championship.
Day two gets underway from the dock on Howey Street tomorrow morning at 6am with boat checks, and the launch officially starts at 7. The first flight of boats must check back in by 3pm for the final weigh-in.
