Police say no new charges will be laid against three inmates at the Kenora Jail after a weekend disturbance.
Three brothers from British Columbia were in jail awaiting a court appearance in connection with a scam in Dryden on New Years Day.
Ministry of Correctional Services spokesperson Julia Noonan says the three inmates failed to follow orders on Saturday, began throwing debris around their cells and made threats to guards.
A crisis intervention team was called in and was able to restore order.
Brad McElroy, one of the men involved in the incident, pled guilty to a fraud charge in Kenora court.
He was sentenced to nine months in jail.
His two brothers are due in court tomorrow.
