In loving memory of William (Billy) Pitchenese, who passed away on Saturday February 14, 2015 at the age of 53 in the Meno Ya Win Hospital in Sioux Lookout.
Dad, grandpa, brother, son and uncle, you fought a long hard battle. A true warrior right to the end, and as you told us your goodbyes before starting your journey, you would blaze the trial for the rest of us.
William leaves behind his daughter; Candace (Daniel), sons; Nicholas and Donovan, grandchildren Riley; Tanisha and Caleb, brothers Paul (Dorothy), Joe (Pat), Albert, Louie, Tim. Sisters; Esther, Mary-Rose, Yvonne, and Anita. Numerous aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Shelly, his parents Paul and May Pitchenese.
William loved the outdoors, he enjoyed working in the wood cutting business with his brothers Joe & Paul, until he got sick. He also love to pick wild rice, blueberries and to go hunting and fishing with his buddy Willie. He enjoyed playing bingo and a good game of Texas Holdem, playing guitar with his boys, hock and baseball.
The family would like to thank Dr. Watson and staff at the Renal Department in Thunder Bay, the awesome doctors, nurses, dialysis department at the Meno-Yo-Win Health Centre in Sioux Lookout. As well anyone else that took part in his care. Words cannot be expressed enough.
